Capture to pAIralegal — Privacy Policy
Technical deployment draft for FLLawGroup review before publication.

Capture to pAIralegal is a Microsoft Edge extension used by authorized FLLawGroup personnel to deliberately capture the active webpage and submit it to an authorized pAIralegal client/matter for legal-workflow document processing.

      Information the extension may access
Only when a user initiates a capture, the extension may access the active webpage’s URL, title, visible text, page dimensions, screenshots needed for the selected visible-page or full-page capture, and an MHTML source archive when that option is enabled. The user may also provide a document title, document type, notes, and a selected client/matter.

The extension also stores limited connection and workflow information in the current Microsoft Edge profile, including the pAIralegal server address, an authorized device credential, user/device identifiers returned by pAIralegal, the matter list needed for selection, capture preferences, and recent capture success/failure information.

      How information is used
The information is used only to authenticate the user’s Edge profile to pAIralegal, display authorized client/matter choices, preserve the webpage the user deliberately selected, submit the capture to the selected pAIralegal matter, and show whether pAIralegal confirmed the capture with a processing Job ID.

      Transmission and security
The firm-managed extension is configured to communicate only with https://pairalegal.fllawgroup.com over HTTPS. The extension does not request access to saved passwords, browser cookies, or general browsing history. It does not continuously monitor webpages in the background. Active-page content is accessed as part of the user-initiated capture workflow.

      Sharing and sale of information
The extension does not sell user or client information and does not use captured information for advertising. Captured information is transmitted to the FLLawGroup pAIralegal system for the firm’s legal-workflow purposes and is handled under the firm’s applicable information-governance, security, confidentiality, and retention practices.

      User controls
Users choose whether and when to capture a webpage, the destination client/matter, and the available capture options. Users can disconnect the current Edge profile from pAIralegal through the extension. Organization administrators may install, update, or remove the extension through managed Microsoft Edge policies.

      Retention
Extension-local connection and recent capture-status information remains in the user’s Edge profile until it is cleared, the extension is removed, or applicable profile data is deleted. Documents successfully submitted to pAIralegal are retained according to FLLawGroup’s applicable client-file and information-governance practices.

      Contact
Questions about this extension or this privacy policy should be directed to the FLLawGroup contact identified on the extension’s Microsoft Edge Add-ons listing and this page.
