Of course, we at skoove can only support you if we can also hear how you make music. Therefore, access to the microphone of your smartphone is absolutely necessary for our service. Your recordings are recorded and you can listen to them again afterwards. We use these recordings for your training and to record your learning progress. We may use de-identified audio recordings and performance data for training and improving our AI models. We implement technical and organisational measures so that these recordings cannot reasonably be linked back to a specific individual. This data is not visible to other users.
The processing of this data for the purpose of providing the service to you is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of contract). The use of de-identified recordings for AI model development and improvement is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interests of Learnfield in improving the quality, accuracy and reliability of the Skoove service). Recordings used for this purpose are processed in de-identified form only, and cannot reasonably be linked back to a specific individual.
We retain de-identified audio recordings and related performance data for a maximum period of approximately three years, unless a longer retention is required for security or legal reasons.
Where we process de-identified audio recordings and performance data for the development and improvement of our AI models on the basis of our legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), you have the right to object to this processing at any time under Art. 21 GDPR, on grounds relating to your particular situation. To exercise this right, please contact privacy@skoove.com.
You can register on this website to use additional features. We will use the information you provide during registration only for the purpose of providing the respective offer or service for which you registered.
All mandatory information requested during registration must be provided in full. Otherwise, we will reject the registration.
In the event of important changes, for example changes to the services offered or technically necessary changes, we will use the email address provided during registration to inform you accordingly.
We offer you the opportunity to apply to us (e.g. by e-mail, post or via online application form). Below we inform you about the scope, purpose and use of your personal data collected during the application process. Your applicant data will be processed in accordance with applicable data protection law and all other statutory provisions and your data will be treated as strictly confidential.
The legal basis for this is § 26 BDSG under German law (initiation of an employment relationship), Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR (general contract initiation) and - if you have given your consent - Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. The consent can be revoked at any time. Your personal data will only be passed on within our company to persons who are involved in processing your application.
If you send us an application, we will process your associated personal data (application documents, contact details, CV, etc.) insofar as this is necessary to decide whether to establish an employment relationship.
If the application is successful, the data you submitted will be stored in our data processing systems on the basis of Section 26 BDSG and Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR for the purpose of implementing the employment relationship.
Retention of applicant data
We reserve the right to retain the data you have submitted on the basis of our legitimate interests (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR) for up to 6 months from the termination of the application process (rejection or withdrawal of the application).
After this period, your application will be deleted or destroyed in accordance with data protection regulations. There is a legitimate interest in keeping your application for 6 months in connection with a possible legal dispute. If it is evident that the data will be required after the 6-month period has expired (e.g. due to an impending or pending legal dispute), it will not be deleted until the purpose for continued storage no longer applies.
By clicking on the "I accept" button in the Cookie Consent banner, you also consent to the processing of your data in the USA in accordance with Art. 49 (1) sentence 1 lit. a DSGVO. The USA is assessed by the European Court of Justice as a country with insufficient data protection according to EU standards. There is a risk that your data may be processed by U.S. authorities for control and monitoring purposes, possibly without any legal remedy. If you click on "Accept essential cookies only", the transmission described above will not take place. For further information, please see the description of the services in our privacy policy.
