iubenda’s policy is “first license is free, with certain limits“.
We often get support requests questioning why you are prompted to upgrade to a paid version. Here’s what may be happening:
Go to your dashboard to see if you have more than one policy in your account.
If that’s the case, delete the additional policy sitting in your account by hovering over the settings icon in the policy’s top right corner.
Not all of the clauses/services can be used with the free Basic License. If you find one with a Pro attached, you’ll need to upgrade in order to use it.
If you go over a certain number of clauses/complexity, you will need to upgrade to the paid Pro License.
Cookie policies are available only with the paid Pro License.
Privacy policies for mobile apps are paid in any case.
