    The primary function of the Fleetsmart product allows clients to collect location data relating to vehicle & asset whereabouts to enable a fleet management function. The product comprises a data collection device that is typically installed within a vehicle or asset that facilitates data extraction about the vehicle location and its current state. All data temporarily stored within the hardware installed in the vehicle is encrypted. This data is then transmitted via mobile networks to Fleetsmart’s servers via secure telecommunications protocols and stored on encrypted cloud servers in accordance with the respective providers privacy, data handling and usage policies.
