When you write a message using a Loudspeek form, we collect your first and last name, your email address, your postcode and the message content. As Loudspeek provides a service for political campaigns to enable constituents to contact their representatives, this will often contain sensitive and/or personal information about your political opinions. We recognise this, and protecting your privacy is very important to us.
We don't normally log any of your information ourselves, but Mailgun, our email services provider, may log your email, your name and your subject line for up to 30 days, as well as the full body text of your email for up to 72 hours. In the event that a serious error occurs in our system when processing your message, we may then log the details you entered to review and fix any issues. Log data is stored securely with restricted access, and will be kept for at most one year.
In addition, depending on the privacy policy of the owner of the Loudspeek site you're on, your data may be recorded by the organisation running the Loudspeek site. Please review the privacy policy for the individual organisation to confirm this - it will be linked in a checkbox above the "Send" button on the form.
As you're sending an email, all of the listed bits of personal data above may be passed on to the email target(s) - for instance, on a form where you're writing to your MP, your MP will get your name, email and postcode, so they can deal with your contact appropriately. Using your data in this way is essential to the performance of our service we provide to you.
