Aimdoc has committed to adhere to the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (EU-U.S. DPF), the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF, and the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (Swiss-U.S. DPF), as administered by the U.S. Department of Commerce. Aimdoc has committed to adhere to the EU-U.S. DPF Principles with regard to the processing of personal data received from the European Union and the United Kingdom in reliance on the EU-U.S. DPF and the UK Extension, and to the Swiss-U.S. DPF Principles with regard to personal data received from Switzerland. If there is any conflict between the terms in this privacy policy and the DPF Principles, the Principles shall govern. Onward transfers. Aimdoc may transfer personal data to third parties that act as our service providers or agents to process it on our behalf. Aimdoc remains responsible and liable under the DPF Principles if such third parties process personal data in a manner inconsistent with the Principles, unless we prove that we are not responsible for the event giving rise to the damage.
Access and choice. Individuals in the EU, UK, and Switzerland have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about them, and to limit its use and disclosure. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@aimdoc.ai.
Independent recourse mechanism. In compliance with the DPF Principles, Aimdoc commits to resolve complaints about our collection or use of your personal data. Individuals with an inquiry or complaint should first contact Aimdoc at privacy@aimdoc.ai. Aimdoc has further committed to refer unresolved complaints to JAMS, an alternative dispute resolution provider located in the United States. If you do not receive timely acknowledgment of your complaint, or if it is not addressed to your satisfaction, please visit https://www.jamsadr.com/dpf-dispute-resolution for more information or to file a complaint. This service is provided to you at no cost.
Binding arbitration. Under certain conditions, more fully described on the Data Privacy Framework website, you may be entitled to invoke binding arbitration when other dispute resolution procedures have been exhausted.
Regulatory oversight. Aimdoc is subject to the investigatory and enforcement powers of the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC).
Lawful requests. Aimdoc may be required to disclose personal data in response to lawful requests by public authorities, including to meet national security or law enforcement requirements.
