    Among the Personal Data collected through the App named DIS Foot Scan APP independently or through third parties, there are: name and surname; sex; age; email address; usage data; non-traceable physical biometric data, consisting of n. 26 different measurement data of the specific conformation of the person's foot (for details, see the following paragraph "Nature, method of collection, purpose and legal basis of the processing of biometric data").

    The biometric data collected by the Data Controller are non-tracer in nature, i.e. not suitable for leaving traces in the environment.
    The collection takes place only on an interactive basis, that is to say with the cooperation of the interested party and his conscious participation during the collection phase of the biometric data.
    The legal basis for the processing of biometric data is the prior, free, express and specific consent of the interested party.
    Biometric data are processed only for the use of the foot scan service.
    The Data Controller adopts the appropriate security measures to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, modification or destruction of the biometric data collected.
    The treatment is carried out using IT and / or telematic tools, with organizational methods and with logic strictly related to the purposes indicated.
    The transmission of data to third parties for the execution of the app, however, will take place anonymously, by assigning a scan ID.
    For this type of data, we guarantee the use of technical detection tools that: require the informed cooperation of the interested party (interactive biometric systems); use as little information as possible; are made anonymous where possible; ensure adequate data protection when storing databases and their definitive deletion after the deadline necessary for the fulfillment of the intended purposes.
    The collection takes place through n. 3 (three) photos of each foot taken directly by the person with their mobile device, able to identify the specific morphology of the foot with n. 26 different measurements, suitable for 3D reconstruction of the foot itself. This allows to identify the exact shoe size for each model on the website www.designitalianshoes.com.
    In no case will the biometric data be used and / or transmitted to third parties for purposes unrelated to the execution of the foot scan service referred to in the preceding paragraph. In particular, the application of biometric recognition systems based on the analysis of the veins, capable of highlighting potential vascular diseases and, in any case, the collection of biometric data for medical-health purposes, is excluded.

  • User identification via a universally unique identifier (UUID)

    This Website may track Users by storing a so-called universally unique identifier (or short UUID) for analytics purposes or for storing Users' preferences. This identifier is generated upon installation of this Application, it persists between Application launches and updates, but it is lost when the User deletes the Application. A reinstall generates a new UUID.
