Personal Data may be freely provided by the User, or, in case of Usage Data, collected automatically when using EasyVFR 4 website and application.
Unless specified otherwise, all Data requested by EasyVFR 4 website and application is mandatory and failure to provide this Data may make it impossible for EasyVFR 4 website and application to provide its services. Device permissions for Personal Data access

Depending on the User's specific device, EasyVFR 4 website and application may request certain permissions that allow it to access the User's device Data as described below.

By default, these permissions must be granted by the User before the respective information can be accessed. Once the permission has been given, it can be revoked by the User at any time. In order to revoke these permissions, Users may refer to the device settings or contact the Owner for support at the contact details provided in the present document.

Motion sensors permission

Used for accessing the User's device motion sensors to measure the User's activity such as step counts, stairs climbed, and movement type (walking, cycling, etc.).

Precise location permission (non-continuous)

Used for accessing the User's precise device location. EasyVFR 4 website and application may collect, use, and share User location Data in order to provide location-based services.
The geographic location of the User is determined in a manner that isn't continuous. This means that it is impossible for EasyVFR 4 website and application to derive the exact position of the User on a continuous basis.

Sensors permission

Used for accessing data from sensors that Users may use to measure what is happening inside their body, such as for instance, heart rate.

Storage permission

Used for accessing shared external storage, including the reading and adding of any items.

Personal Data is collected for the following purposes and using the following services:

• Advertising

  This type of service allows User Data to be utilized for advertising communication purposes. These communications are displayed in the form of banners and other advertisements on EasyVFR 4 website and application, possibly based on User interests.

  Meta ads conversion tracking (Meta pixel) is an analytics service provided by Meta Platforms Ireland Limited that connects data from the Meta Audience Network with actions performed on EasyVFR 4 website and application. The Meta pixel tracks conversions that can be attributed to ads on Facebook, Instagram and Meta Audience Network.

  The services contained in this section enable the Owner to monitor and analyze web traffic and can be used to keep track of User behavior.

  User ID extension for Google Analytics (Google LLC)

  Google Analytics on EasyVFR 4 website and application makes use of a feature called User ID. This setup allows for a more accurate tracking of Users by associating that User with the same ID over various sessions and devices. It is set up in a way that doesn’t allow Google to personally identify an individual or permanently identify a particular device.

  EasyVFR stores routes, filed flightplans and aircraft profiles to servers located in the Netherlands owned by PocketFMS whenever there is an internet connection available and the associated item is saved.

  Logbook (includes tracking details), user waypoints, breadcrumb details are only stored on EasyVFR cloud when explicitly executed by the user.

  EasyVFR 4 app Background location services

  During and after a flight, users can analyze their own flight by extracting the stored location data to their logbook and by visualizing their flight track on the EasyVFR 4 map.
  In order to keep track of the user's position when the EasyVFR 4 app is in the background, the operating system background location services are needed to keep track of the flight. The user has to enable this manually, opt-in-based. When background location is used, notification is always visible in the operating systems notification center.
  
  Background location is only used in specific situations when all of the following conditions are met:
  - Use of background location services is enabled within the EasyVFR 4 app: EasyVFR 4 menu -> System;
  - The user has given permission in the OS settings for EasyVFR 4 to use Background location;
  - The EasyVFR 4 app is alive in the background;
  - The user has enabled flight mode during that session when the app was in the foreground.
  
  No data will be shared with 3rd parties.

  When the user enables one or more SafeSky options within the EasyVFR app, the app will utilize the SafeSky API to share the user's location, and aircraft profile with SafeSky, as well as receive information on surrounding traffic, as specified by the user's settings within the EasyVFR 4 app. By doing so, the user agrees to be bound by the SafeSky SRL Terms and Conditions and Legal Notice.   Location data for navigation, flight logging, and optional SafeSky

  Service: Location data for navigation, flight logging, and optional SafeSky
  Personal Data processed: precise geographic position (GPS/GNSS), app state (flight mode status).
  
  Purpose: in‑flight navigation, safety awareness, post‑flight analysis (logbook/track visualization), optional traffic‑awareness via SafeSky.
  
  Collection modes:
  - Foreground: when the app is open and permission is granted.
  - Background (opt‑in): when the user enabled background location in-app and OS settings, the app is active in the background, and Flight Mode was enabled in the session. A persistent notification is shown. Location may be collected even when the app is not in active use during this flight‑tracking period.
  
  Sharing:
  - Not sold and not used for advertising or marketing.
  - Shared only with SafeSky if the user explicitly enables SafeSky options; can be disabled at any time. Subject to SafeSky terms/legal notices.
  
  Retention: tracks/logbook entries stored on device and, if the user chooses, synced to EasyVFR Cloud; users can delete at any time.
  
  Legal basis: user consent for location permissions and performance of the requested service (navigation and flight logging).

• Managing contacts and sending messages

  This type of service makes it possible to manage a database of email contacts, phone contacts or any other contact information to communicate with the User.
  These services may also collect data concerning the date and time when the message was viewed by the User, as well as when the User interacted with it, such as by clicking on links included in the message.

  Mailgun (Mailgun Technologies, Inc.)

  Mailgun is an email address management and message sending service provided by Mailgun Technologies, Inc.
