    • Account Management and Creation

      As part of our service to our customers, Wingback creates an account entity for you, the user, within our customer's Wingback account. This is done strictly on behalf of our customer and for the sole purpose of enabling our customer, who is your service provider, to provide their services to you, with Wingback managing the subscription and billing processes.
      The data collected for this purpose may include your contact information, subscription details, usage data, and payment information (processed by third-party payment processors and not stored by Wingback).
      Please note that it is not possible for users to directly create an account with Wingback. The creation, management, and all aspects of your account and the data it contains are fully controlled by our customer. Wingback acts solely as a data processor in this regard, processing your data according to the instructions of our customer, who is the data controller.
      Wingback does not use this data for its own purposes. Instead, it is used strictly for managing your account, subscription, and billing on behalf of our customer. This reflects our commitment to respecting your privacy and adhering to data protection laws.

      Wingback analyzes usage and payment patterns to predict churn and payment failure. This functionality is a necessary part of maintaining the continuity and stability of our customers' businesses and ensuring the ongoing provision of their services.
      Additionally, Wingback highly anonymizes and aggregates this data across all our customers, allowing us to provide SaaS pricing and packaging recommendations to our customers. This helps our customers gain insights, optimize their pricing strategy, and detect gaps in their product offering. Please note that this activity is carried out solely for the benefit of our customers business interests.

      Data Use by Our Customers
      Our customers may export data from Wingback to their accounting and related systems for reconciliation and compliance with sales tax, accounting, and reporting regulations. This is necessary for them to meet their record-keeping requirements for client data, invoices, payments, and other accounting-related information, in accordance with their fiduciary duties and local laws.
      Furthermore, our customers may also connect Wingback to their Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems (such as Salesforce, Hubspot) and other sales systems such as sales automation and contract management systems. In contrast to targeted sales purposes, these integrations are often essential for our customers to be able to sell, provision, and provide their services to you.
