Connecting with others
Our Services allow you to stay in touch with colleagues, partners, and other innovation professionals. To do so, you can choose to whom you can connect. When you connect with another user, you will be able to see each other’s´ profile, profile activity (e.g. the resources you have commented on), and write each other private messages. To facilitate your professional connections, if you are part of the Innovation Roundtable® network, the users that have attended the same event as you, will be automatically added to your network.
In addition, you will be able to browse among the attendees list of the event your have attended. This also mean that other users that have attended the same event as you will be able to see you in the list.
You can always choose to not receive private messages and to not appear in the searches and event attendee lists by changing your privacy settings.

Sharing Information with others
Your profile may be fully visible to all registered users and customers of our Services. Your and their settings, and the subscriptions you / they may have, their usage of our Services, the user of certain channels, like the Share section, and search types (e.g., by name or by keyword), will impact the availability of your profile and certain fields.
Our Services allow viewing and sharing information including through posts, follows, likes and comments.
• When you share a post (e.g., an update, video or request for collaboration) you will share it publicly within the platform. Others who are not your connections will be able to find and see your post. Search Engines will not be able to find your posts, as the content in our online network is password protected and not accessible by any search engines.
• When you like, comment on or share another’s post, others will see it, including the person who initiated the post, and will be able to access your profile.
• When you follow a conversation, others will not be notified. We consider following discussions a private activity.
• When you bookmark a contact, a speaker, a resource etc., others will not be notified. We consider bookmarking a private activity.

We sell premium services that provide our customer access to premium content, user directory and profiles, and customized functionalities. The Personal Data collected is used to provide the User with services or to sell goods, including payment and possible delivery. You will be able to edit those details during the user activation process and at any later stage in the Profile section.

Backup saving and management & platform service and hosting
The backup saving and management service allows the Owner to save and manage backups of InnovationRoundtable.online on external servers managed by the service provider itself. The backups may include the source code and content as well as the data that the User provides to InnovationRoundtable.online.
The platform and hosting services have the purpose of running key components of InnovationRoundtable.online, therefore allowing the provision of InnovationRoundtable.online from within a unified platform. Such platforms provide a wide range of tools to the Owner – e.g. analytics, user registration, commenting, database management, e-commerce, payment processing – that imply the collection and handling of Personal Data. Some of these services work through geographically distributed servers, making it difficult to determine the actual location where the Personal Data are stored.

We use the LinkedIn API to allow users to retrieve basic profile information such as name, photo, headline, and current position for authenticated users from their LinkedIn accounts. Users of InnovationRoundtable.online may use the LinkedIn Auto-fill functionality to complete part of their personal profile descriptions (i.e. user personal background, user current responsibilities, profile picture)
The use of the LinkedIn Plugin does not create a partnership relationship with LinkedIn and Innovation Roundtable ApS do not monetize its use.

Disclosing information to stakeholders and third parties
Your employer may ask to see how you use our Services. We will not show them your searches or personal messages. However, should a crime have been committed, or is suspected to have been committed, through your account, or that you have violated the User Agreement of our Services, we reserve the right to grant access to the relevant authorities to investigate the matter and provide relevant information to your employer and/or law enforcement.

For security reasons, and to prevent the misuse of the User’s personal account, InnovationRoundtable.online may collect and use User’s location data and type of device to block too many simultaneous sessions from the same account. A user can be connected from up to 2 devices simultaneously.

When a User takes part in an event or meeting, they may be asked to previously fill out forms with their Personal Data for the purpose of allowing the Owner to create an event attendee list. In this case, we will provide an online feature by means of which such Data shall be used to pre-fill your User profile in order to simplify the creation of your User account.
You shall be requested to confirm your account by clicking on the link, which we will send to the email address you previously shared with us. Please remember that you will be able to edit those details during the user activation process and at any later stage in the Profile section. Should you not confirm your account, we will make sure to delete your Data

User's account cancellation
Account closure

Further information about retention time
Unless specified otherwise in this document, Personal Data shall be processed and stored for as long as required by the purpose they have been collected for and may be retained for longer due to applicable legal obligation or based on the Users’ consent.
Therefore:
- Personal Data collected for purposes related to the performance of a contract between the Owner and the User shall be retained until such contract has been fully performed.
- Personal Data collected for the purposes of the Owner’s legitimate interests shall be retained as long as needed to fulfill such purposes. Users may find specific information regarding the legitimate interests pursued by the Owner within the relevant sections of this document or by contacting the Owner.
The Owner may be allowed to retain Personal Data for a longer period whenever the User has given consent to such processing, as long as such consent is not withdrawn. Furthermore, the Owner may be obliged to retain Personal Data for a longer period whenever required to fulfil a legal obligation or upon order of an authority.
