Desktop application & AI processing

Company: this Application

GUMO Assistant is a desktop application. In addition to the website data above: (1) Account & entitlement — when you sign in, the app sends your authentication token to our backend (Firebase) to verify your subscription or trial; we store your account id, email, subscription status and trial start date. (2) Local project access — to function, the app reads and writes files in the projects you open and reads your game engine's editor state on your device. (3) AI providers (your keys) — the app sends the prompts you write and the project content it needs (which may include source code and assets) to the third-party AI/asset providers you configure with your own API keys (e.g. Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, OpenRouter, DeepSeek, Meshy); that content is processed under those providers' own policies and is not received or stored by us. (4) Diagnostics — the app keeps anonymous, on-device usage logs (timings, token estimates) that are not transmitted to us, with API keys redacted. (5) Updates — the app downloads updates from GitHub Releases, which receives your IP and user-agent.

GUMO Security Monitoring and Admin Console

Company: this Application

Purpose:
Security, fraud prevention, abuse prevention, account administration, subscription enforcement, customer support, infrastructure monitoring, and protection against unauthorized concurrent use of a paid account.

GUMO uses an internal Firebase-backed admin console and security monitoring system to protect the GUMO desktop app, the website, paid subscriptions, and support systems from abuse. The system helps authorized administrators review account status, investigate suspicious usage, enforce account or IP restrictions, revoke sessions, support password recovery, and manage subscription-related support requests.

Personal Data processed:
Firebase user ID, email address, display name, account creation time, last sign-in time, email verification state, authentication provider identifiers, subscription status, plan, Stripe customer ID, Stripe subscription ID, trial status, account lock status, password-reset support links generated by Firebase, IP address, hashed IP address, user agent, approximate device/session identifiers generated by the GUMO desktop app, app version, platform, timezone, session start and last-seen timestamps, security event metadata, support conversation metadata, and administrator audit-log metadata.

Important limitation:
The monitoring system is intended to track security, billing entitlement, app-session, and support activity. It is not intended to inspect or moderate the private content that users generate locally in the GUMO desktop app, unless the user voluntarily sends content to support.

Legal basis:
Processing is necessary for the legitimate interests of protecting the service, preventing fraud and abuse, enforcing subscriptions, maintaining account security, supporting users, and preserving the integrity of billing and access-control systems. Where required, processing may also be necessary to perform the contract with the user or comply with legal obligations.

Retention:
Security events, IP-ban records, app-session records, and admin audit logs are retained only as long as reasonably necessary for security, abuse prevention, billing enforcement, support, legal, and operational needs. IP bans may be retained until removed or until their configured expiration time. Users may contact GUMO support to request access, correction, or deletion where applicable.

Place of processing:
Firebase and Google Cloud infrastructure used by this application, plus Stripe where subscription information is involved.
