Environmental impact monitoring of activities on Edil-Up

Company: this Application

Edil-Up includes features dedicated to monitoring the environmental impact generated by the digital use of the platform.
In particular, we use certain data relating to sites and interactions between companies to estimate:
kilometres of physical travel avoided thanks to the first contact taking place online between companies (for example via internal chat or contact requests);
the estimated reduction of CO₂ and other emissions linked to the travel avoided;
the paper savings and other resource savings resulting from the digital storage of site documents.
For these calculations, Edil-Up uses only the data already available on the platform, such as, by way of example: company profile information (city, region, country), data relating to worksites and connections between companies (such as the first contact between two companies within Edil-Up), and the number and type of documents stored in digital format where necessary to estimate paper savings.
The processed data is used for statistical and reporting purposes in order to:
show users indicators of the positive environmental impact linked to their use of the platform;
generate, where applicable, reports or certificates that users can download;
improve Edil-Up’s services with a view to environmental sustainability.
Edil-Up does not use this data for behavioural marketing or commercial profiling and does not share it with third-party partners, except in an aggregated and anonymous form.
