About our company

iubenda is an online service that makes it easy for website owners, app developers, agencies and organizations in general, to comply with international privacy laws. We currently serve over 60,000 paying customers in 100+ different countries, in 8 languages. The company is very healthy and is able to finance its aggressive growth independently. Our vision is that the legal market is one of the few that are yet to be disrupted by technology – our aim, therefore, is to be the leading providers of software facilitated compliance solutions. We started from offering privacy/e-commerce compliance to SMB and so far we’ve been dominating this small niche.

Our headquarters are in Italy (in Bologna and in Milan) but our team spans multiple countries as some team members work remotely.

We are looking for candidates who are willing to embrace the challenge of a small company, take accountability for the tasks and own the issues and projects, with a team collaborative attitude.

Sales Representative

You won’t be required to do any door-to-door brick and mortar sales activity. Instead, you’ll be involved in the following activities:

  • Talking with web agencies and handling the relationship with them (part of our success is due to the relationship we establish with web agencies, marketing agencies and web professionals in general, as we offer them support on the legal needs of their clients)
  • Coordinating the relationship with our tailored clients
  • Growing our client base in the “value-added services” area

Requirements

  • Communication and marketing skills
  • Knowing the web, how it works, its technologies and mechanisms

We’re looking for a German (native) customer care agent to lead all support activities (chat, email, documentation – no phone) directed to our customers in the DACH markets, in German language. This hire will also have to help us translate the entire site and keep it translated.

Operations and Customer Care Agent for our company incorporation service

We’re looking for an Operations and Customer Care Agent for our company incorporation service in the Italian market (www.iubenda.com/srl) and for the related services we’re about to launch in the same field.

You’ll be involved in the following activities:

  • Providing support throughout the whole incorporation process
  • Carrying out the incorporation process with the specific institutions and administrative offices, sorting out issues as they arise
  • Using the institutional software (Fedra, Telemaco, etc) to put the filing together

Senior Front-end / JS Developer

We’re looking for a senior Javascript developer to take the lead of all our JS assets. The widgets that iubenda distributes (the privacy policy widget and the cookie solution) are served on over 100M page views per day, and need an experienced lead to join our development team. If you’re excited to work with one of the very few Italian companies offering SaaS solutions internationally, you’re looking at the right place. The Javascript that you’ll write will be used on hundreds of thousands of websites, executed in the browsers of users over 100M times a day.

Requirements

  • Deep knowledge of JavaScript and related modern technologies in web development. Includes deep understanding of the DOM, JSON, OOP JavaScript, CORS and common JavaScript libraries, mainly jQuery (including plugin development).
  • Knowledge of Vue.js framework
  • Proficient in understanding web markup, including HTML5, CSS3.
  • Experience in unit testing with JavaScript
  • Proficient in understanding cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.

UI Designer and HTML/CSS developer

Important: if you’re a UI designer but have no development skills, do get in touch and we’ll still consider your application

We started iubenda with the goal of changing the way people experience legal documents. Great care for design is everywhere in what we do – from the interface of our site to the legal documents we create – and by design we don’t mean those pretty icons or illustrations, for us design means turning tasks that are performed by lawyers today with years of study and experience into something that everybody can approach. Lawyer

Our company is an innovative business operating in the legal-tech industry. We are leaders in our field and operate on a global scale.

We’re looking for a lawyer to integrate with our team and work on the following activities:

  • Help the product team to keep the legal texts embedded in our legal solutions updated
  • Drafting custom privacy policies and terms & conditions for our enterprise clients
  • Coordinating with our international legal partners, who help us provide our service internationally

As Italian laws require, the lawyer won’t be an employee but he/she’ll be requested to work exclusively for iubenda as an independent contractor. Also notice that you won’t be performing any litigation activities.
